Internships


Acupuncture Internship:
Semester long internship treating clients under supervision. Requires MA acupuncture license or third year status in an accredited acupuncture school. Prerequisite: 30 hours of assistantship experience at our clinic. Includes case review, grand rounds and actual treatment of clients. Contact: New England School of Acupuncture, Amy Hull at 617-926-4271.Our Intern Clinic operates on Thursdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Herbal Internship:  Pathways to Wellness offers a 16-week herbal internship with Tao Xie, M.D. (China), LAc and Ruth Knill, PhD, MAOM. The internship is four hours weekly on either Mondays or Fridays. The internship is designed for licensed herbalists and advanced students (third year) who desire to advance their knowledge in prescriptions of Chinese herbs with a master herbalist. The 60-hour course is certified by the Committee on Acupuncture of the Registration in Medicine of Massachusetts for continuing educational credits for reissuing of licenses.
