An Ohio native, Linda has now lived in New England much longer than in her home state, and has long considered this area home. She holds a BA in Latin American studies and an MBA, which led her into 20+ years of varied employment, focusing in subsidized housing, the arts, and writing/editing. She has experience overlapping the public, non-profit and private sectors. In 1992, ready for a new challenge, she decided to resurrect a long time interest in a health care career and chose to enter the field of Chinese Medicine. She completed her studies at the England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in 1996.

Since receiving her degree and license, Linda has worked as a staff acupuncturist at the AIDS Care Project (now Pathways to Wellness), providing treatments in community satellite clinics, residential facilities, and private homes. For three years she was an Adjunct instructor in Clinical Skills and Point Location at the New England School of Acupuncture. She has also worked as a part-time administrator at Mass General Hospital for the past six years.
 
She is fluent in Spanish, speaks some Portuguese, and enjoys serving a diverse and multicultural community of patients. Linda serves Pathways South Shore home care patients.
