Julia graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in 1995. She received her Bachelor of Science from Antioch College. Julia has pursued continuing education in a number of Japanese systems of acupuncture and related therapies including Toyo Hari Acupuncture, Yamamoto Scalp Acupuncture, moxibustion techniques, Sotai exercises, and more.
Julia began her affiliation with Pathways in 1993, and joined the acupuncture staff in 1995. She has a background in research, evaluation, and planning in Health and Human Services. Her primary interests lie in Japanese styles of acupuncture, HIV, public health, women's issues, and other challenging health concerns. |
