Sandra is a licensed acupuncturist and board certified herbalist in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She holds a Master’s degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine (MAOM) from New England School of Acupuncture. She has completed a postgraduate internship in herbal medicine with Dr. Tao Xie, Pathways’ herbal intern supervisor. She has also done a postgraduate herbal study focusing on women’s health with Sharon Weisenbaum. Sandra has a private practice in acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Sandra has been affiliated with Pathways to Wellness since 2002. For three years, she ran a satellite clinic sponsored by Pathways at the Southern New Hampshire HIV/AIDS Task Force in Nashua. Sandra also offers treatment to women at Bridges, a support group for survivors of child abuse. She has been certified to work for the Veterans Administration on a research program with returning veterans to begin in the fall of 2006. Sandra lives and gardens in Mason, NH where she enjoys cultivating medicinal herbs and flowers, especially orchids. She has two grown children and a grand-dog. |
