Russ has a masters degree in acupuncture and herbal medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) and has a national certification by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Russ has diverse clinical experience including a wellness spa in Boston's Back Bay, the Dimock Community Health Center serving an inner city population, and the Malden Family Health Center located in a suburban hospital setting. In addition to being a volunteer staff member at Pathways, he is a staff member at the Fenway Community Health Center’s acupuncture detox clinic and is a teaching assistant at NESA. Russ is currently co-president of the Kendall Square Learning Project - one of the oldest all volunteer non-profit English as a second language programs in Massachusetts.
