Pathways to Wellness takes great care
and responsibility that its practitioners are highly trained and talented
in their fields. Additionally, most clinicians are trained at Pathways
by Assistantship and Internship to acquire the knowledge and skills
in treatment of chronic and difficult conditions.
Our clinicians attend monthly clinical trainings
that we provide which are approved for continuing credit by the Massachusetts
Board of registration in Medicine. We offer advanced herbal and acupuncture
internship. Our staff has taught our methods both nationally and internationally
and are regularly asked to present at national and regional conferences
and seminars.
Because of the conditions that we treat, Pathways
is especially conscious of safety and sterile procedure. All clinicians
must be specially trained at hiring and are required to have annual
classes in safety procedures, OSHA regulations and CPR.
Pathways practitioners have immediate access
to fellow practitioners of both similar and diverse therapies for consultation.
Additionally, the Clinical Director is available for consultation.
ACUPUNCTURISTS
All Pathways acupuncturists are licensed in
the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and are additionally trained by Pathways
over a period of years. Many are or have been instructors at New England
School of Acupuncture and many have additional private practices outside
of Pathways in various parts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Please

CHINESE HERBALISTS
Pathways operates a full service
Chinese Herbal pharmacy with consultations with highly trained Licensed
herbalists. Chinese herbs are most effective when used in combination
and individualized for each client. Thus herbs are not over-the-counter
pills or capsules.
Master herbalist Dr. Tao Xie,
M.D. (China), Lic.Ac., has designed, stocked and staffed our herbal
department to insure the highest quality and strength of herbs and the
highest effectiveness.
Our herbalists have undergone
an extensive internship with Dr. Tao Xie and have proved themselves
to be highly capable and are all licensed Acupuncturists. Our post-graduate
internship program offers advanced training to talented Chinese Herbalists.
