Acupressure point of the season:
GV 16
By Edie Snow, ABT
This season’s acupressure point is GV16, called Wind's Dwelling or Wind Palace. It is one finger-width above the natural hairline, along the center line of the back of the head, below the occipital protuberance. This point eliminates Interior and Exterior Wind. It can be used for attacks of external Wind Heat or Wind Cold, as well as Interior Wind, such as migraine or dizziness. It can also be used to clear the mind when you are stressed or overwhelmed.
Protection of this point, as well as other neck and head points, is a good reason to wear a jacket with a collar or hood when it's windy outside, or when you are sitting under an air-conditioning vent or by a bus window.
